More Site Changes

Question: what does a boy do when his girlfriend is super busy enjoying the Olympics in Vancouver, BC?

Answer: misses her more than anything he has ever missed… and works on his website.
More sweeping changes to the website! most notably: the blog in which you are currently reading from at this moment! I also got a new comment system built into this blog, so please please please please PLEASE, comment and come back often! i would love comments, suggestions, questions, inspiration, and hate mail.

This will be the place that i announce new moments in my life, where i announce new works of art, illustrations, and designs.

    When you are looking at a specific team/painting, you should have a button to go back to the sub-list. Not just a "Previous/Next" buttons. So if I am looking at a specific painting I can go back to the page with all the thumbnails rather than scrolling through all of them or go back to the list of teams in you NHL rebranding. Not a big deal but I do think that it will greatly increase the ease of navigating your page.

    May be a product of all the computer problems I have had lately, but I don't like that I have to insert my email to post on your blog.

    Those are the only things I have noticed. Keep up the good work and stay active with it.

    I have added that suggestion to all Artwork viewing pages. I agree completely with you on all the points you made about it. excellent suggestion.

    I totally understand your hesitance. I have made it so that you can not only sign in using nothing but your email, but also you can create a disqus account if you desire, OR sign in using your twitter, facebook, OpenID (the sign in protocol used on my previous blog), and yahoo. I'm still experimenting with Disqus, and trying to figure it out myself. so bear with me. :)
  • I was looking through the artwork and noticed that "Scout Ahead" did not have a button to return to the thumbnails. All the other ones did, I thought I'd let you know for consistency. Also, the comments are hard to differentiate between who is leaving them. Maybe you could make the background of the comment a different color from the background of the page.
    It's still looking really good. I'm enjoying your renditions of NHL logos! :)
