I know everyone has different tastes, and priorities when it comes to advertisement design, but one thing I absolutely love is layering. The puzzle of what goes on top and what goes on bottom. The amazing level of depth is creates to the viewer. The interesting ways it forces the eye across the page. All reasons why this ad is one of my favorites and was a blast to create.
